Benefit Summary

Group Insurance

The group health insurance calendar year deductible is set up as follows:

  • Basic Plan Deluxe Plan*
  • Individual-In Network $1500 ($3000 if out of network) $750 ($1500.00 if out of network)
  • Family-In Network $4500 ($9000 if out of network) $2250.00 ($4500.00 if out of network)
  • After deductible is satisfied, coinsurance is paid as follows:
    • In Network Providers 80/20 80/20
    • Out of Network Providers 60/40 60/40
  • Principal Dental and Vision Plans
  • A Prescription Card is included with medical. The amount per prescription or refill an employee must pay is:
    • $30.00 for brand name, $15.00 for generic brand
    • Mail order 90-day prescriptions require 2 co-pays: $60.00 for brand name, $30.00 for generic brand & is available for medication required for continuing treatment of a medical condition.
  • A Flex Spending Plan and APSA Reimbursement of medical co-pays, prescriptions and deductibles up to $150 per employee and $300 per family per year are also offered. Long and short term disability plans are also available.

401(k) Retirement Plan

After one year of service with CIT, an employee is eligible to participate in our 401(k) plan. Your contribution is on a pre-tax basis. The company matches your contributions dollar for dollar up to 4% of your wages.

Life Insurance

CIT provides every full-time employee $20,000 of life insurance. Voluntary life insurance for employee, spouse & children is also available.

Holiday

The company has six paid holidays each year:

  • New Years Day
  • Memorial Day
  • July 4th
  • Labor Day
  • Thanksgiving
  • Christmas Day

Vacation

Vacation is earned after one year of service with the company. After one year of service, an employee is eligible for one week paid vacation. After two years of service, an employee is eligible for two weeks paid vacation. After eleven years of service, an employee is eligible for three weeks paid vacation.

Sick Leave

After one year of service, an hourly employee is eligible for up to 3 days sick leave depending on the month hired. Both Short Term and Long Term Disability Plans are available in the Voluntary Work Benefits Plan at reasonable rates.
